One More Welfare Pay Out - YSR Law Nestham

“For the fourth year in a row Sri Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, Hon’ble Chief Minister is credited Rs. 1,00,55,000 directly into the accounts of 2011 eligible junior advocates ( Rs. 5000 per month) across AP with the click of the button on 22/2/23 . So are under the scheme including the present pay out the Jagan’s government has disbursed Rs. 35.40 cr to 4,248 unique beneficiaries in these three and half years. For the welfare of advocates Jagan’s government established “ AP State Advocates Welfare Trust” with Corpus Fund of Rs. 100 Cr. Some more details are given in the half -page advertisement announcing pay out on the 22 of Feb 2023.
2. There are so many engineering graduates who are unemployed and are doing miscellaneous jobs including tele-calling. They too deserve as much welfare payments as junior lawyers . We have to hope that in largeness of his heart and his boundless kindness unemployed engineers & MBA graduates already engaged in the struggle for livelihood will also get the “Nestham” of the Hon’ble Chief Minister.
3. There are yet three more classes of people deserving the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s munificence. For them, the following three state-owned corporations may be created through which welfare can be administered.
· AP State Marriages Corporation : A state-owned corporation for facilitating and performing the marriage of the unmarried. It may be called State Marriages Corporation . Employment exchanges by the government were designed to provide and facilitate employment for the unemployed seekers. Similarly to stop exploitation and malpractices in private marriage bureaus government itself may establish and operate state marriage corporation with which unmarried young can register their names and the state facilitates interviews, intersessions and finally betrothal and even perform the marriage at rates commensurate with the pomp with which the marriage is to be celebrated.
· AP State Surrogacy Corporation: Increasing number of women are engaged at work in corporations , government and self-employment . Pregnancy should not interfere with their work. With this view working women and are availing of costly privately- run surrogate mothers facilities. The state itself as a welfare measures for ladies may start such corporation and provide the services .
· AP State Fertility Corporation: Many women unable to conceive are spending huge amounts at private fertility hospitals . The state itself may establish fertility corporation with operation in different cities. This would prevent the high cost which private facilities are charging.
4. The Jagan government would go down in history as an exemplary welfare delivering government. It may be emulated by the Chief Ministers of other states and even the Prime Minister of India. ( 437 words)
