Imminent End of History’s Longest
Civil War – The Sega of the PWGA

For the past few weeks under the Chairmanship of a past Justice of the High Court of Telangana, various communist parties, CPI, CPM, CP ( New Democracy) ; CPI ( New Democracy -Mass Line) ; their wards among students – AISF, SFI, RSU, PDSU among women, the AIDWA; among artists the “Arunodayam”; civil rights, human rights, freedom of expression advocates; right to life pleaders and restless publicity seeking andolan jeevis ( professional agitators) have been demanding that the government of India accept the call of the leaders of the Peoples War Guerilla Army (PWGA) for a ceasefire by the armed police forces of India and hold talk with them, the PWGA.
2. As an ( ex) communist in youth and thereafter till 1962 China’s war on India, I am aware of the communist’s war under the Secretary Generalship of Com B. T. Ranadive against the government of India, as directed by COMINTERN /COMINFORM’s chief Com J.V Stalin of USSR. The CPI’s war against the Government of India in Telangana during 1948-51 was terminated by the CPI under advice by J V Stalin, the ruler of USSR a secret delegation of comrades Chandra Rajeswar Rao, Makineni Basava Punnaiah, SA Dange and Ajay Ghosh who went to Moscow to
seek guidance and orders. The guerilla war waging CPI called for talks then as the PWGA and their above ground Marxist -Communist- Maoist and fellow-travelers are now calling the Government of India in 1951 contemptuously ignored the communists calls for talks. The remaining few communist guerillas gave up arms and dissolved themselves among people. The leaders of Dr N M Jaisurya son of Dr Sarojini Naidu contested the 1951-52 General elections to Hyderabad State Assembly and Lok Sabha in Delhi. The rest is history - CPI splitting, the splits splitting into more of them and finally now functioning as “statement” and “letter-head” parties with under 2% popular to all of them put together. That faction carrying the historic name of CPI seeks the patronage of Congress. It can appropriately called Congress’ Communist Party, just as there used to be a Congress Socialist Party led by Acharya Narendra Deva, Jaiprakash Narayan, Achyut Patwardhan , Ram Mohan Lohia etc., communists who infiltrated into Congress socialistic party were expelled by the Congress when its leaders arrested in 1932 and were released in 1945.
3. The Congress party wants to cultivate an image of socialism, secularism and protector of Muslims and the poor . So it is happy to keep company with the CPI; in fact the CPI supported Indira Gandhi’s Emergency rule ( 1975-77) and its prominent leader Com. Mohan Kumar Mangalam joined the Congress and was Indira’s minister implementing nationalization of banks and such “socialist” programs. Infiltration into popular parties and taking control of them or splitting them is standard practice of communist movements all over the world. V.I. Lenin called the fellow-travelers “useful idiots”.
4. In India the communists are finished in West Bengal and Tripura which they ruled for 34 years. Kerala is the last state where now they are precariously in power. The several differently designated parties issue statements frequently . They are all denounced by the Maoist Peoples War Guerilla Army (PWGA) which has been waging war against the Indian Union for since the last fifty years from its bases in Dandakaranya. It demanded talks for ceasefires during the Chief Ministership of N T Rama Rao and Y S Rajasekhara Reddy . Both insisted on surrender of arms by the PWGA before talks could begin; the latter refused. Now too PWGA and their above ground support groups and fellow-travelling “useful idiots” are asking for ceasefire and talks without surrender of arms. They are getting killed in droves by the armed police forces of India. They are also killing whomsoever they accuse as informers, “enemies of the people” . Some are surrendering and receiving a handsome rehabilitation package. Government of India has vowed to wipe out the Maoist PWGA by 2026. As in 1948-51, it appears that all these PWGA’s soldiers, whom the late N T Rama Rao called “misguided patriots” will individually melt away and the longer civil war in history of the world will end ignominiously. May be its Balladeers (like Gaddar and his daughter) will find a haven in socialism -spouting “garibi-hataoing” Indo-Italian mother-son-daughter led (owned ?) Congress Party.
