Pakistan ‘s Polemical Origins
(Dr T.H.Chowdary)*
Sri Javed Anand, husband of the notorious Teesta Seetalwad ( anti-Narendra Modi activist) reviewed the book, “ Creating a New Madina” written by Dhulipala Venkat and published by Cambridge University Press, priced at Rs. 995 only. Here are some of the quotes in that book.
2. Md.Ali Jinnah (the Father of Pakistan ) speaking at the Aligarh Muslim University in March 1941 said, “ as a self-respecting people we in the Muslim minority Provinces say boldly that we are prepared to undergo every suffering and sacrifice for the emancipation and liberation of our brethren in regions of Muslim majority “. Those regions of Muslim majority had governments led by Muslims and actually could not be dominated by any Hindu/ non- Muslim party.
3. In his address to the Muslim students federation at Khanpur a few weeks later he (Jinnha) even went to the extent of declaring that an order to liberate seven crore Muslims of the majority provinces, he was prepared to perform the last ceremony of martyrdom if necessary and let 2cr Muslims of the minority provinces be smashed ( the then two crore have now become about 17cr ).
4. Md. Ali Jinnah used the Muslims of what is now India to violently agitate for the division of this country. The idea of a Home Land for the Indian sub-continent’s Muslims was what was also promoted. Muslims of what is now India defeated every “nationalist” Muslim put up by the Congress led by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the Muslim leader of Hindus in Congress. On the 16 of Aug 1946 in the Muslim League ruled Bengal Province, in its capital, Calcutta 10,000 Hindus were slaughtered when the Muslim League took to Direct Action. After the creation of Pakistan, these Muslims of what is now India stayed put in this country. Only from east Punjab, Haryana and UP and Bihar some Muslims went to Pakistan . There they are called Mohajjirs, refugees and are treated as second class citizens.
5. Here in India, heeding to the call of Jawaharlal Nehru many Muslim League MPs and MLAs join the Congress and since then, Congress party is a hostage to these Muslims and by now it has become a party of the minorities(cover word for Muslims).
6. Sir C P Ramaswamy Iyer the Diwan of Travancore and latter, India’s delegate to the United Nations as well as Dr Rajendra Prasad and others had Muslims who created Pakistan are continuing to live in India, they must be declared as foreign nationals and not allowed to become citizens or voters or property owners. Jawaharlal Nehru and Gandhiji and therefore their servile Congress did not accept this suggestion nor did they accept the wise and rational advice of Dr.Ambedkar that there should be a complete exchange of minority populations between India and Pakistan. Pakistan (and Bangladesh ) have more or less got rid of all the Hindu-Sikh-Buddhist minorities. Here in India the Muslim population is increasing far faster than the non-Muslim population and is about to overwhelm Assam West Bengal and perhaps Kerala. If we don’t have a proper population policy, India will cease to be a safe place for Hindus . The regional parties and the Congress are in competition for Muslim votes and are therefore specially promoting their welfare and their separateness through Urdu universities , the Muslim First programs and Man Mohan Singh government’s 15 point welfare schemes for minorities (Muslims), the carving out of Muslims majority districts ; the increasing subsidies for Muslim pilgrimage Haj to Mekka and the introduction of special funds for Muslims higher education in foreign countries are all measures competitively introduced to court Muslim voters. These are nation-disintegrative measures.
7. Unless the history of India from the 11th century and especially from the 1920s onward till the partition of India is remembered, Hindus will once again lose their freedom and this time, as Dr Ambedkar has said in his speech at the concluding session of the Constituent Assembly, Hindus will lose their freedom forever.
8. It is unlikely that India will again produce Ranapratap, Sivaji, Ranjit Singh, Guru Govind Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Patel .... (690 words)
